Heesen Yachts reveals latest 50m superyacht, Maia
Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts has revealed their latest 50-metre full displacement superyacht under construction at their facilities in Oss. Project Maia features flowing exterior lines from the drawing boards of Clifford Den, with Reymond Langton undertaking her interior design.
Named after a star in the Taurus constellation, she will accommodate 10 guests over five staterooms, including a large master suite on the main deck as well as three double and one twin cabin on the lower deck.
Amongst her stand out features is a luxurious beach club complete with a bar and sauna. Her tenders will be carried on the foredeck where they can be quickly and efficiently deployed. Performance wise she will be powered by twin MTU engines, providing her with a top speed of 15 knots and a range of 3,800 nm at 12 knots.
Project Maia will be ready for delivery in 2018.
